You can find out more about interactive fiction, and download new
games to play with Zinc, at the following places:
- The Interactive Fiction
Archive - an excellent source for Z-machine and TADS games. Try
a mirror site if the main site seems a bit slow.
- tads.org - the official home
for the Text Adventure Development System (TADS), and a good
introduction to interactive fiction.
- The World of Interactive
Fiction - a friendly introduction to if and a list of some of
the best if games (in the author's opinion).

Zinc includes a TADS 2 interpreter called "Jetty" written by
Dan Shiovitz. It also includes software developed by the Apache
Software Foundation (namely the Jakarta Regexp library).
|
To our acute embarrassment Zinc shares its name with several other
free projects which you can check out below:
- ZiNc, a Sony Zn-1/2 and
Namco 11 arcade emulator.
- Zinc, a graphical
toolkit for Tk.
- Zinc, a suite
of reimplemented CP/M utilities.
- Zinc,
something you can eat.
